The Lviv Regional Centre for Disease Control and Prevention reported that over the past week, the incidence in the region decreased compared to the previous week. The epidemic threshold is 434.07.
From 18 to 24 November, 9,830 cases were registered, including: 4 685 (48%) were adults, 5 145 (52%) cases were children.
The distribution by age group is as follows:
- preschool children aged 0-4 years – 1,398 cases;
- children aged 5-14 years – 2,771 cases;
- among adolescents aged 15-17 years – 976 cases;
- young people aged 18-29 – 1,317 cases;
- adults aged 30-64 – 2,741 cases;
- 627 cases were registered among people aged 65 and older.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine stresses the importance of vaccination against influenza and COVID-19. This is the most effective way to protect against these infectious diseases.
